Punjab University spring recess starts

LAHORE:April 13: Punjab University teaching departments, institutes, centres and constituent colleges/ schools will remain close for Spring Recess from April 15 to April 23. The university did not observe the spring break last year. A spokesperson for the university said spring recess was observed in the year 2017 as well. To a question he said spring recess was mentioned in the PU academic calendar and it was upon the university administration to decide to observe the same or not.The news.

Punjab University book fair

LAHORE:April 9: Punjab University Chairman Hall Council Prof Dr Abid Hussain Ch on Monday chaired a meeting of Stalls Committee to review arrangements for Pakistan’s largest book fair to be held from April 25 to 27. According to a press release, this time the university will organise the book fair in cricket ground adjacent to admin block New Campus. The members also gave suggestions to the participants regarding arrangements to organise book fair successfully.The news.

Convocation of Punjab University’ 232 receive degrees

LAHORE:April 8: The 6th convocation of Punjab University’s College of Pharmacy was held at a local hotel here Sunday in which 232 degrees of Pharm-D were distributed among the students, including 15 of session 2013-2018. Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology Prof Dr Taqi Zahid Butt, Dean Faculty of Pharmacy Prof Dr Khalid Hussain, senior faculty members and a large number of graduating students and their parents were present.

National Institute of Management visited various PU departs,

Lahore:29 March: A 12-member delegation from National Institute of Management (NIM) on mid-career management course visited Punjab University. According to a press release, the delegation called on Faculty of Commerce Dean Prof Dr Mubsher Munawar at PU’s Hailey College of Commerce. External Linkages Director Prof Dr Kanwal Ameen and senior faculty members were also present. Dr Mubbsher briefed the delegates on the academic and co-curricular activities at the university. Three more buses for Punjab University

Lahore:29 March: Punjab University (PU) has added three more buses to its existing fleet of buses for providing better transportation facilities to the students. The inauguration ceremony in this regard was held at PU Transport Wing here on Thursday. PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Registrar Dr Muhammad Khalid Khan, Resident Officer-I Jalil Tariq, Resident Officer II Malik Muhammad Zaheer, Hall Council Chairman Prof Dr Abid Hussain, senior official Wazir Khan and the staff from the transport wing were present on the occasion.

Punjab University Pakistan's largest three-day book fair

Lahore:28 March: Punjab University has formed various committees to successfully organise Pakistan's largest three-day book fair to be held from April 25-27. The book fair will be organised in the corridors of institute of education and research, new campus in which all the leading publishers from Pakistan will participate. Faculty of Engineering and Technology Dean Prof Dr Taqi Zahid Butt has been appointed as convener of the book fair coordination committee to review arrangements.The news.

Punjab University issues LLB forms submission schedule

LAHORE:March 28: Punjab University has issued schedule for submission of admission forms for the LLB (three years) part-I, II and III annual examination 2019. The last date for submission of admission forms for regular candidates of LLB (three years) part-I, II and III annual examinations 2019 with single fee is April 15, 16 and 17 respectively while the forms can be submitted with double fee till April 29, 30 and may 2 respectively.

Punjab University schedule for forms for BSc (Engg)

LAHORE :March 8: Punjab University (PU) has issued the schedule for submission of admission fee and forms for BSc (Engg) Electrical Engineering 2nd semester examination 2019. The last date for submission of admission forms with single fee is 18-3-19 while the forms can be submitted with double fee till 21-3-19. Meanwhile, the PU Examinations Department has also issued date sheet of BS (4-year programme) 1st, 3rd, 7th semester, ADB (2-Year programme) 1st, 3rd Semester exam 2019 and M.Com (3 ½ Years Programme) Third Year annual exam 2018 to be held in March, 2019.The news.

Punjab University Mehfil-e-Husn-e-Qirat

Lahore:07 March:Mehfil-e-Qirat Punjab University’s Faculty of Islamic Studies on Wednesday organised Mehfil-e-Husn-e-Qirat. Vice-Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad, Faculty of Islamic Studies Dean Prof Dr Muhammad Hammad Lakhvi, senior faculty members, participants from Egypt and various parts of country and students were present.
