TEVTA up-to-date training to its students at Luban Workshop

LAHORE:June 14: Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Chairman Hafiz Farhat Abbas said in future industrial automation and robotics would be very important therefore Tevta was imparting this up-to-date training to its students at Luban Workshop. He said this while addressing the students during the visit of Luban Workshop. He said in near future another workshop with the same facilities would be established so that more students could take benefit. He thanked China for this setup and hoped China would continue its help for training Tevta students in the future.

UET announces deadline for online registration

LAHORE:June 14: University of Engineering & Technology (UET) on Thursday announced July 3 as the last date for data entry and online generation of admit card for admissions in BSc Engineering and BSc Engineering Technology programmes at UET, its affiliated engineering colleges and other engineering institutions of Punjab. According to a spokesperson for UET, the entry test tokens are available from designated HBL branches on payment of Rs700/- till July 2. Detailed instructions about logging in to the UET admission portal using the token number are given on the token.

Buzdar makes Eid for stranded students

Lahore:04 June:Eid was around the corner and they did not have any money to live on. They were all young Pakistanis who went to China to study on scholarship. They then decided to make themselves heard and seen through videos in which they explained that their scholarship grant has not been released. They also explained that they had to borrow money from their Chinese teachers to survive.

LAHORE:May 31: The English compulsory paper of part-I intermediate annual examination 2019 under the aegis of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, will be held on June 4. This was stated by Lahore BISE Controller Examination Prof Muhammad Nasir Jamil in a statement issued here on Thursday. He said that all arrangements had been completed to conduct the exam and the students had been also informed. The students should reach their respective exam centres half an hour before the start of exam so that they might not face any difficulty, he added.The news.

BSc Engineering admission test on July 14

LAHORE:May 31: University of Engineering & Technology (UET) while sharing schedule for online registration of a common entrance test for admissions in BSc Engineering and BSc Engineering Technology programmes in engineering institutions around the Punjab announced that the entrance test will be held on July 14. A UET spokesperson said there is no restriction on appearing in the entrance test. However, appearance in the entrance test does not confer the right to apply for admission in the Engineering and Engineering Technology institutions of Punjab.

Urdu Science Board launching ceremony of Books launched

LAHORE:May 29: Urdu Science Board organised a launching ceremony to introduce its new publications namely Maholiyati Tanqeed, Tarikh-e-Bashar, Ghora and Cancer. Dr Saadat Saeed from Department of Urdu, GC University Lahore, chaired the ceremony. In his welcome address, Dr Nasir Abbas Nayyar, USB Director General, said authors prepared books with zeal and passion. He said Urdu Science Board has published books on unique scientific topics, which are being neglected by other publishers.

Calligraphy workshop concludes

Lahore:May 24:The closing ceremony of three days of calligraphy workshop organised by Lahore Arts Council in collaboration with Pakistan Calligraphy Artists' Guild was held at Alhamra Art Gallery. Moneeza Hashmi was the chief guest on the occasion. The workshop was conducted by famous artists and a teacher in the field of calligraphy Irfan Ahmed Khan, Imran Sultan and Asad Mehmood. This workshop was attended by 70 students of different school, colleges and others.

Punjab University’s HCBF organises anti-corruption seminar

Lahore:23 May:The youth was urged to play its role in eradicating corruption. Senior figures from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and notable academics said it was vital for the younger generation to be proactive when it comes to eliminating such crime.
