Rawalpindi:12 April: Grammar School Rawalpindi’s Chaklala branch, in its ongoing celebrations of seventy years of Pakistan, organised an event for parents and guests to show-case the presentations done at the school in 2018. Students from the junior and senior sections exhibited and through their presentations expressed that mere sloganeering would not facilitate their beloved homeland. Instead, reflection was required to create opportunities to show authentic love and patriotism by doing practical service for it.

Rawalpindi: 03 April: Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) has cancelled the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) second group papers of English Part-II and Physics Part-II rescheduled earlier for April 4 and 5. According to RBISE spokesman, the papers have been cancelled due to an appeal pending in Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench. All the institutions concerned and private candidates have been directed to remain connected with the Board till the final verdict is given by the court which has fixed April 17 for the hearing.The news.
Rawalpindi:03 April: To commemorate Pakistan Day, a ceremony was organised at Govt. Viqar-un-Nisa Postgraduate College for Women, here on Friday. The guest of honour for the event was Director Colleges Rawalpindi, Malik Muhammad Asghar. A documentary was played, highlighting the historical importance of Pakistan Day. A tableau was presented by the students, illuminating the cultural diversity of Pakistan and reflecting the solidarity among all its provinces.

Rawalpindi:February 23: An inauguration ceremony of ‘Supply of Compost to University Research Farm (URF)’ was held on Thursday at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR). Compost is obtained from the decomposed organic material of Mehr Biogas Model which was designed by PMAS-AAUR to meet the domestic needs of biogas and electricity through biomass-bio-energy technology.

Rawalpindi:10 February:Quaid-i-Azam University has broken into the top 100 universities of Asia while it is listed among the top 500 in the world, according to the latest rankings issued by the Times Higher Education (THE) at the 2018 Asia Universities Summit in China, local media reported on Thursday. This year, Pakistan only had one varsity in the top 500 and a total of four in the top 1,000 universities in the world.
