LAHORE:04 March:Punjab University Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS) Director Prof Dr Rubeena Zakar has said child marriages must be controlled to avoid cervical cancer. According to a press release while addressing an awareness seminar on prevention of cervical cancer in Pakistan, she said although the exact incidence and prevalence of cervical cancer was not known, 20 women were diagnosed with cervical cancer daily.

LAHORE:01 March: Punjab University (PU) on Thursday took out a rally to express solidarity with Pakistan Army. PU teachers, officers, employees and a large number of students participated in the rally which was led by Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad Akhtar. The rally was taken out from College of Earth and Environmental Sciences chowk in which participants were carrying banners and posters lauding the valour of Pakistan Army. The participants chanted slogans in support of Pakistan Army and against Indian aggression.
