LAHORE:THE Punjab University has awarded PhD degrees to Anwar Hussain S/o Muhammad Roshan in the subject of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics after the approval of his research thesis titled “Phytohormones Cytokinin and IAA from Microbial Origin and Their Impact on Plant Growth” and Mubasher Hussain S/o Akhter Husain in the subject of Islamic Studies after the approval of his research thesis titled “Usage of Prohibited Parts of Animals and Fiqh-e-Islami.” They have completed their theses under the supervision of Prof Dr Shahida Hasnain, Chairperson, PU Department of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, and Dr Muhammad Saad Siddiqi, Assistant Professor, PU Department of Islamic Studies, respectively.The news
