Lahore: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the provincial ministers and advisors have been sent to various divisions for monitoring the matriculation examination and he will also pay surprise visits to different examination centres.
He said foolproof arrangements should be made for checking the use of unfair means in the examination and Booti mafia should be rooted out at any cost.
The CM stated this while presiding over a meeting to review the arrangements of Matric examination-2011 here on Monday.He said that computerisation of examination system was a good step which would bring further transparency to the system.
Education Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman said that 19,18,000 students were appearing in Matric examination this year. He also gave details of the arrangements made in this regard.
