Punjab Police Passing-out

Lahore: The passing out parade ceremony of 39th Lower Class Course was held at the Police Training School, Chung, on Thursday.

Addl. IG Police Punjab Ch. Tanvir Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion. Principal PTS Chung Major (r) DIG Mubashar Ullah, in his welcome address while highlighting the training programme of lower class course, said that 539 police personnel participated in the course who were imparted training regarding police matters on modern lines.

Addressing the ceremony, Additional IG Police Punjab Ch. Tanvir Ahmed said that special attention was being given to the training in order to enhance the professional skills of police force. For this purpose, different training courses are being organised in all the police training schools of the province so that police force can play an effective role in the maintenance of law & order and prevention of crime, he maintained.

The Addl. IG advised the passed out police personnel to exhibit good behaviour while dealing with the public so that the gap between police and public could be bridged. He said it was heartening to note that the training in PTS Chung was at par with the international standard. All types of professional courses are being organised here for which Principal Major (Retd) Mubbashar Ullah and his team deserve appreciation, the Addl. IG concluded.

Earlier, Addl. IG inspected the parade and distributed prizes among the best recruits of the course. Later, a smartly turned out police contingent of the parade presented salute to the chief guest.
