Cancellation of board exams opposed

LAHORE:08 May:Students, their parents and teachers on Thursday expressing concerns over the government’s decision of cancelling all the board examinations have demanded the government to review its decision. Federal Minister for Education & Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood announcing that decisions of National Coordination Committee (NCC) said all educational institutions across the country would remain closed till July 15 while all board exams throughout the country had been cancelled. He added: “Students would be assessed on their previous performance in board exams.”

BA Law Part-I and II, Supple Exam results out

Lahore:11 February:Controller of Examinations Prof Dr Arshad Azmi announced the results of BA Law Part-I and II, Supplementary Examination 2018. According to the gazette issued, eight candidates registered and appeared in the supple papers, and six students were declared passed. The overall pass percentage was 75 per cent. The gazette shows that 59 candidates registered and appeared in the exams. Of them, 43 students cleared their papers. The overall pass percentage was 72.88 per cent.The news.

Matric admission date extended

LAHORE:06 December:Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore, has extended last date for receipt of admission forms for Matric annual examination 2020, starting on February 22. A BISE spokesperson said regular and private candidates could submit their forms till Dec 13 with single, till Dec 20 with double fee and till Dec 27 with triple fee.The news.

Boys outperform girls in Inter exam

LAHORE:04 September: Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore on Tuesday announced the names of position-holders of Intermediate Annual Examination 2019, according to which, the top three positions were bagged by the boys of Punjab Group of Colleges. The overall top position was clinched by Ali Raza Rana of Punjab College of Science, Ferozepur Road, who secured 1055 marks out of total 1100 marks. The second and third positions were bagged by the students of the same college Talha Akhtar and Zain Tariq who secured 1052 and 1051 marks, respectively.

Lahore:20 August:Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore on Monday announced the results of class-9 Annual Examinations 2019 according to which overall pass percentage is 52.07 per cent. About 271,447 candidates appeared in the examination out of which 141,350 passed the exam. LAHORE :30 July: Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore and rest of the eight BISEs of the province are likely to announce the result of Intermediate (Part-II) Annual Examinations 2019 on September 4. Meanwhile, the BISE Lahore has announced that the last date for online registration of regular students of Class-XI (Session 2019-201) will be September 4, 2019. A BISE spokesperson said after the last date the regular students could get registered online with a fine from September 5 to September 19, 2019.The news.

LAHORE:May 31: The English compulsory paper of part-I intermediate annual examination 2019 under the aegis of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, will be held on June 4. This was stated by Lahore BISE Controller Examination Prof Muhammad Nasir Jamil in a statement issued here on Thursday. He said that all arrangements had been completed to conduct the exam and the students had been also informed. The students should reach their respective exam centres half an hour before the start of exam so that they might not face any difficulty, he added.The news.
