Youth urged to promote agro-economy

LAHORE: University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Nawaz has said that young students are the hope of the nation and they must shoulder the responsibility of promoting agro-economy.

He said this, on Friday, while addressing a delegation of students from Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), Tandojam.

The delegation was led by Prof Dr Qammerud Din Abbasi and consisted of 31 female students from various disciplines.

They also visited the UVAS Pet Centre, diagnostic laboratory, quality operation laboratory, library, postmortem house and the university’s outdoor clinic.

Talking to the students, Nawaz said, “You are the nation builders and have to get up and take responsibility for the country’s progress.” He urged the students to carry out jihad against all social evils for the sake of their country.Daily Times.
