Lahore: 17 July: University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore has announced that The Final Term Examination is going to be held for undergraduate and postgraduate students. As per direction, the following instructions are hereby notified for strict compliance, please.
The examination will be held at City and Ravi Campuses simultaneously starting from 28th June, 2012 (undergraduate / postgraduate).
 Presence of concerned Chairmen and Teachers along with other staff during the examination must be ensured by the Deans / Directors / Chairmen.
The pattern of midterm examination will be adjusted as given below:

Note:
The Weightage of the MCQ’s and Subjective Questions is 50% and 50% respectively.
 The teachers have to determine themselves the marks allocated to each subjective question.
 The number of options for MCQ’s is 5, which will also be shuffled, therefore, teachers are requested not to include the statements like “All of the above”, “None of the above” or “a,b” or “c,d,e” or “a,c” etc.
 There will be 25% review option for MCQ’s and 100% review option for the subjective questions.
 Each teacher concerned will upload the question paper before the examination and must register himself / herself before uploading the paper.
 Teachers are requested to upload subjective questions keeping in view of the typing speed of the students.
 Teachers who are teaching Moring & Evening classes, are requested to upload the Morning & Evening papers separately in their exam panel even if the papers are same.
 Teachers are requested to set the passwords of paper after uploading the same and must run the TEST PAPER from their exam login before locking the paper, the teacher has the right to edit / update the questions until it is not locked. Once it is locked, it will not be updated / editable. It is mandatory to lock the Paper. The Exam will not be opened in Examination Hall unless, it is not locked.
 Concerned teacher has to announce the Exam Password in Examination hall to start the paper.
 The teachers are advised to provide information/ guidance to the students that the Final Term Teacher’s Evaluation Panel will remain open till 23-06-2012 during office hours, afterward, it will be blocked. Student(s) cannot open his/her paper unless he/she has evaluated the teachers.
 The teachers are also advised that they should discuss the paper especially MCQs with students after the exam.
 During the examinations, the Cell Phone will be strictly banned. If anyone is found with cell phone in the examinations, the mobile set will be confiscated permanently with fine of Rs.1000/- only. No student will be allowed to sit the other exam till the fine is paid by the student. The paper will also be liable to be cancelled and the case will be sent to the Unfair Means Committee to take disciplinary action as per University Rules.
 Without University ID Cards, students will not be allowed to sit in the examinations.
All the Deans / Directors are requested to kindly direct the teachers concerned to prepare quality questions papers and upload the same with the help of Director, I.T., if required, in due course of time.
