UVAS marks its 10th anniversary

LAHORE: The University of Veterinary and Animal Science (UVAS) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha has announced that the university will establish an international campus in Middle East as well as national campus.
He was addressing at a ceremony organized in connection with university's 10-year celebrations-A decade of growth and contribution on university campus. Former Vice Chancellors Prof Dr Manzoor Qureshi, Prof Dr Muhammad Nawaz, Pakistan Agriculture Research Board CEO Dr Mubarik Ali, Livestock Dairy Development Board CEO Lt Gen ® Muhammad Ali, Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council president Dr Muhammad Arshad, Prof Dr Saghir Ahmad Jaffery, Dr Sajjad Zaheer, Prof Dr Aleem Bhatti, Abdul Karim Bhatti and other faculty member attended on the occasion.
Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha said June 15 2002 was historic moment when the Punjab Government announced setting up of a full fledge Veterinary and Animal ScienceUniversity to focus on livestock sector to make it a vibrant economic engine. In the last one decade, he said university had contributed a lot in terms of imparting quality education as well as research that helped farmers to grow economically as well as professionally.F.P.
