JARANWALA:September 15: The Chief Minister’s Sports Youth Festival 2012 kicked off at various grounds here on Friday.
People told The News that the matches had been played in poor conditions, while there was no arrangement of drinking water for players in the sweltering weather. They held the government responsible for poor arrangements. According to the results, Islamia High School defeated Government High School Chak 61/GB by 2-0 in a football match. Islamia High School beat Government High School in a hockey match.
