LAHORE:November 10:The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, has completed the re-checking of answer-books of the intermediate annual part-II examination, 2011.
According to a press release here on Wednesday, candidates, who had applied for re-checking of their answer-books, have been informed about their results after re-checking through registered letters as well as displayed on the website of BISE, Lahore, i.e. www.biselahore.com. In this connection, holidays of Eid-ul-Azha had been cancelled for board employees so that the re-checking process could be completed in time. Board employees and teachers have accomplished the task after working day and night. BISE Chairman Dr Allah Bakhsh Malik, the controller of examinations and the secretary, thanked board employees and teachers on the achievement.
The intermediate (supplementary) examination, 2011, will commence from 15th November 2011. Approximately, 32,000 candidates will be participating in the examination. To facilitate the candidates, 80 examination centres have been established within the jurisdiction of the Lahore Board i.e. Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Nankana Sahib and Sheikupura. Roll number slips have been dispatched through registered post to all candidates at their residential addresses.
