PU students to participate in anti-dengue campaign

LAHORE:August 09: A meeting aimed at creating awareness about dengue fever and adoption of precautionary measures was held at the Punjab University with Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran in the chair.

The meeting decided that PU students would voluntarily participate in the Punjab government’s ongoing awareness campaign regarding dengue fever in order to sensitise people about the disease. In this connection, an awareness drive will also be launched to restrain the spread of the disease and provide accurate information to the patients.

Chief Social Mobiliser Shaista Pervaiz Malik, Acting Registrar Prof Dr Aurangzeb Alamgir, Department of Zoology Chairman Dr Muhammad Akhtar, Dr Saeed Akhtar, Member Syndicate Shumaila Gul and Student Adviser Dr Rafique Ahmed attended the meeting.Daily Times.
