Lahore: 15 June: Punjab University Institute of Education & Research’s Department of Technology Education held a Quran Khawani for the departed souls of Pak Army’s Martyrs of Siachen here on Thursday. Department Chairperson Dr Tehseen Mehmood, Prof Muhammad Riaz, Prof Tariq Hussain, Prof Shahzad Mughal and a large number of students were present on the occasion. Later, Abul Rehman Madni highlighted the philosophy of Martyrdom and told the students about value of martyrdom. In the end Dua was also offered for the martyrs of Siachen.
