LAHORE : Unexpectedly, a record 75 thousand books were sold during the three days of PU book fair organized by the administration, faculty and students. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has said that the number of books sold on book fair showed the students and people still have love for books. He said mostly young students have purchased maximum books which showed increase in their liaison with books. He stressed the need to promote study-culture and said the knowledge was the source of power and respectable survival in the world, and knowledge and book were two important for each others.
