PEC, PICC 2-day workshop concludes

LAHORE: A two-day training workshop on Pakistan Engineering Council’s (PEC) Contract Documents and Pakistan Institute of Cost and Contract’s (PICC) Cost Data concluded at a local hotel on Wednesday.

Around 100 registered participants from 20 different organisations and departments attended the workshop, including WAPDA, DESCON, PEPCO, LESCO, Pak PWD, NESPAK and Atomic Energy Commission. PICC Chief Executive Officer and Resource Person Engr Mazharul Islam conducted the two-days workshop.

Lectures were delivered on preparing project specific bidding documents and price adjustment formulas in line with the PEC standard which was mandatory to be followed by all stakeholders.

NESPAK MD Asad IA Khan, highlighted the importance of PEC Standard Contract Documents and PICC Construction Cost Data in his inaugural speech.Daily Times.
