LUMS SSE Physics & Abdus Salam ICTP Enter Federation Agreement
Lahore: 04 Feb: Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Lahore has announced that Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Italy has granted the establishment of a Federation Agreement between their Centre and the Department of Physics, LUMS. Under this agreement, young researchers from the LUMS Department of Physics will be able to visit the Abdus Salam ICTP in Trieste, Italy for participating in scientific activities and forging scientific collaborations. This frequent contact, in line with Abdus Salam's vision, will help provoke the fire of scientific inquiry and help alleviate the sense of scientific isolation young researchers face in the developing world.
