Lahore: 20 Jan: Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) has announced that A plaque unveiling ceremony was held at LUMS on January 19, 2012 to commemorate the inauguration of the Millat Tractors Auditorium in the LUMS School of Science and Engineering (SSE) Complex.
The Chairman of the Millat Group of Companies, Mr. Sikandar M. Khan, along with Mr. Sohail Bashir Rana, Mr. Latif Khalid Hashmi and Mr. Irfan Aqueel were present at the occasion. They were joined by Syed Babar Ali, Pro Chancellor - LUMS, Dr. Adil Najam, Vice Chancellor- LUMS, Dr. Sohail Qureshi, Dean SSE and the LUMS Fundraising Office. Speaking at the occasion, Syed Babar Ali acknowledged the generous contribution of the Millat Group to the university. He also appreciated Mr. Sikandar Khan for being one of the rare individuals to come forward and support LUMS of his own desire instead of being approached by Syed Babar Ali. Mr. Khan in turn thanked LUMS and Syed Babar Ali for providing his company and him the opportunity to contribute towards the betterment of future generations.
