LUMS Ambassador Delivers Lecture at Passau University Germany

Lahore: 04 Feb: Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Lahore has announced that Ambassador Syed Azmat Hassan, Visiting Faculty, SHSSL delivered a lecture at the University of Passau in Germany on ‘The Politics of International Terrorism: Inside the Af-Pak War’ on January 11, 2012. The lecture was attended by over 200 students and faculty members. During his talk, Ambassador Hassan reminded the audience of the linkage which LUMS enjoyed with Passau University under which a number of students from the institution had enrolled in courses at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at LUMS. Also, LUMS students have participated in most of the Model UN events organised by the University in recent years.
The officials at the University of Passau also expressed their opinion that such exchanges between the two institutions should be encouraged as they would serve to enhance contact and understanding between the two nations.
