LAHORE :July 20: The Service and Sales Corporation in collaboration with the British Council launched an initiative titled ‘Servis Fun and Learn’ to make English language learning easier for children at Royal Palm and Country Club on Thursday.

In this connection, a colourful function was held, which was attended by a number of schoolchildren. Every participating child will get a British Council’s LearnEnglish Kids pack free-of-cost. In addition to that kids will also get a chance to win many other exciting prizes through a lucky draw.

Speaking at the launch, Martin Fryer of the British Council said: “We are grateful to the Service Sales Corporation that has demonstrated a commitment to the schoolchildren of Pakistan. We are quite excited about giving young learners an opportunity to use a globally recognised tool like LearnEnglish Kids to help in their academic and personal growth.”

The British Council gave a presentation on the fun activities covered in the LearnEnglish Kids pack, which was received with much excitement particularly by the students and teachers.

This initiative aims at reaching at the heart of one of the main obstacles to student achievement, which is lack of comprehensive skills in English. Over a period of time, Servis plans to expand it to cover subjects like maths and many others.Dawn.
