Institutions to reopen on 23rd after summer vacation

LAHORE:19 August:AFTER a prolonged summer break, public and private sector educational institutions will reopen across the province on August 23.
Usually summer vacation is observed from early June till August 14 but owing to the holy month of Ramazan and Eid-ul-Fitr the break was extended this year till August 22.
It may be mentioned here that following declaration of results of matriculation, intermediate and BA/BSc the colleges and universities have opened admissions to next classes. The last week of August will witness submission of fees etc by students while from the September the new academic session would commence.
With the end of annual summer and Eid holidays, boarding students will also return to their respective colleges and universities as almost all the students living in hostels leave for their hometowns to celebrate Eid with their family members and loved ones.The news.
