GCUDS hosts Punjabi Safdar Mir Takra

Lahore: 02 March: Government College University (GCU) Lahore has announced that Debating Society hosted the All Pakistan Safdar Mir Punjabi Takra 2012. As many as 39 educational institutions from all over Pakistan took part in the competition and debated on the motion “The onus of all our ills is on America” (Jo Kurwa Raya Aay, America Kurwa Raya Aay). The motion in the end was rejected by the House, while Punjab University Law College orator, Muhammad Aisam, secured the first position for opposing the motion. M.A.O. College debater Muhammad Sameer secured the second position while Hailey College of Commerce student Abdul Raheem was declared third.
