GCU students show off their potential in music, dance, acting

LAHORE: Students of the Government College University (GCU) exhibited their talent in singing, dance, acting and jugglery on Friday amidst shouts and claps by their class fellows and friends at the ‘GCU Talent Hunt’ programme held at the historical Oval Ground.
The talent hunt was organised by the Business, Accounting and Finance Society to provide students with an opportunity to show their talent before a large audience. The venue remained overcrowded since morning as the students turned up in hundreds to demonstrate their talent. The programme kicked off with a flute performance by Mohsin Abbas, which was met with a loud applause by the audience. Two dance performances by intermediate students in Michael Jackson’s style also won praise. The students also mimicked noted artistes, Meera and Shahrukh Khan. A GCU sportsman also showed several tricks with a football. The best singing performance was by Saba Shafqat, a BA (Hons) student.Daily times
