Faisalabad: 09 June: Government College University (GCU) Faisalabad has announced that Applications for the Financial Assistance/Scholarship for the Forthcoming Semester Fall 2012 only for morning programmes are invited for all disciplines in different categories

Criteria
GC Special Scholarship for the Employee Wards 100% concession in tuition fee should be granted to the GC University employee’s wards. Fee concession for GC University employees’ wards will not be extended to all the contract employees while the university regular employees will be benefited with the fee concession. Service certificate / notification of the employee of relevant department and CNIC must be attached with the application form.
Kinship Scholarship 50% concession in tuition fee should be granted to the Brother/Sister if both are studying in the university at a time. Applicant/ Brother/Sister, Parents/Guardian’s CNIC and previous semester result must be attached.
Employees Educational Benefit Scheme for their wards 100% concession in tuition fee should be granted to the elder daughter/son. 50% concession in tuition fee should be granted to the younger daughter/son. The B-form, service certificate and salary slip of the parents should be attached with form. Govt employees of Education Department will be only of grade BPS 1-16.
Financial Assistance to the Deserving Students The form must be duly verified by the Head of the Department. Each department shall have 05% quota of the deserving category and 50% concession in tuition fee should be granted. Income certificate, Parents/Guardians CNIC and previous semester result must be attached with the form
Federal Harmony Scholarship Government of Punjab offer free education for FATA students in order to encourage them to study in Governmental institutions of the Punjab. Parents/Guardians CNIC, Domicile and previous semester result must be attached with application. Students from FANA and Baluchistan are not eligible for this scholarship.
Special Person Scholarship Governor’s Secretariat Punjab offer 50% fee concession to special students of this University. The application for the said scholarship may be recommended by the Head of department. Parents/Guardians CNIC, Medical Certificate and previous semester result must be attached with application.
Scholarship forms should reach the Students’ Financial Aid Office complete in all respects according to the above instructions on or before 25-06-2012
