Meanwhile, Government College University Lahore Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleequr Rahman has revived two-year Masters in Political Science to provide an opportunity of quality education to the students who have two-year bachelor's degrees. The GCU Syndicate and Academic Council approved the Masters programme. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleequr Rahman said that this was first Masters programme revived by GCU since MA/MSc was replaced by the BA/BSc (Hons) programme in 2007. "The Masters programme is lunched keeping in view our educational responsibilities towards nation, market demand and the dearth of opportunities regarding quality higher education for the students with two-year bachelor's degrees," Prof Khaleeq added.F.P.report.
