Lahore: 26 May: Forman Christian College (FC College) has announced On 23 May 2012, International Affairs Society (IAS) FCC organised an interactive session on “How to use Google” by Waqas Ali. Waqas Ali is the Founder of Hometown Shoes (www.hometownshoes.com) and a prominent blogger (http://waqasali.me). He was recently featured in one of the world’s biggest tech blogs for his efforts against Twitter and Facebook bans in Pakistan.
The session was organised to help students and teachers learn which and how Google products should be used. Waqas was accompanied by Sidra Qasim, Co-founder of Hometown Shoes. She works as a consultant to help young entrepreneurs start new businesses and is also an active member of Indo-Pak Peace Media. The session was attended by over 70 students.
