LAHORE:February 21: Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) Chairman Irfan Qaiser Sheikh has said Tevta in collaboration with Netsol will train 2,000 youths in latest technologies including Internet of Things (IOT), Blockchain (Cryptocurrency) and Data Management. According to a press release, Netsol CEO Saleem Ghauri called on Tevta chairman here on Tuesday. In the meeting it was decided that initially four to six month course would be started for students to train them in all these sectors whereas a separate two-year programme would also be launched. Irfan Qaiser Sheikh observed Tevta would be the first organisation which would provide training in these technologies. Saleem Ghauri said currently there was huge demand of youths with skills in data management, IOT and Blockchain in local as well as global market. Handling data has become a global problem therefore by getting training in this sector our youths could get jobs worldwide.The news.
