Lahore:December 13: The collaboration between Japan International Cooperation Agency and Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) has provided technical education to the youth of Punjab according to the Japanese standards. Tevta Chairman Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said this while talking to a JICA delegation led by Mayumi Miyata here on Tuesday, according to a press release. He said JICA provided Rs 640 million aid for the students of Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) which eventually raised the standard of technical education. Machinery worth Rs 105 million was also handed over to the Government Technical College, Faisalabad, he said. He said the syllabus of technical education was also reviewed by the Japanese experts.
