LAHORE:20 March: A two-day international workshop on “Collective Action for Knowledge Economy Using Technology (CAKE-TECH)” started at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) here on Monday. Norway’s Deputy Head of Mission Siv Kaspersen chaired the inaugural session of the workshop. UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha, Virtual University Rector Dr Naveed A. Malik, University of Gambia Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Faqir Muhammad Anjum, faculty members, students and national and international participants were also present on the occasion. Prof Dr Muhammad Nawaz spoke about objectives of the workshop.
