Free education for LWMC staff children

LAHORE, Aug 3: Around 5,000 children of employees of the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) will get free education in 110 schools of the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF).

The initiative has been taken in collaboration with the PEF to provide better academic facilities to the children of sanitary workers, company HR and admin general manager Ejaz Husain said after distributing 400 education vouchers under the first phase at a ceremony held here on Thursday.

Each recipient of the voucher will get absolutely free education as the LWMC will bear school admissions and monthly fees, provide books and other stationary items and pay examinations fees.Dawn.
