BZU Multan BA Result Self-Employed Girls From Small Towns Top

MULTAN:13 August: Sewing clothes and teaching the Holy Quran to children did not prove to be a hurdle for two girls in Multan who secured top positions in BA examinations on Monday.

The top position holder, Tehmeena Jaleel, bore all expenses of her education by sewing clothes as her father was a postal office clerk in a sub-district of Multan. Bushra Amen, who secured the third position in BA, belongs to the rural area of Taunsa and would cover her education expenses by teaching the Holy Quran to children.

Jaleel belonged to Government College for Women, Jalalpur Peer Wala and secured 629 marks, while Amen from Government College for Women, Taunsa secured 621 marks. Saleha Khalil of Maimoona Post Graduate College came second in BA with 626 marks.

The three top positions of BSc examinations were also secured by girls, according to the results announced by Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan.

In BSc, the first position was secured by Ayesha Sharif with 695 marks, second position by Iqra Jamshaid with 691 marks and third by Saman Naz with 682 marks. All three position holders belonged to Punjab College, Multan.
