Punjab university VC Trauma centre inaugurated

LAHORE :November 4:The University of Punjab (PU) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zafar Moeen Nasir on Friday inaugurated ‘Psychological Trauma Centre’ at Centre for Clinical Psychology. This is the first initiative by any university for mental treatment of the patients facing psychological problems. Faculty of Life Sciences Dean Prof Dr Naeem Khan, Centre for Clinical Psychology Director Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar, senior faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion.

Student mobility trends from Pakistan

Quality publication of textbooks reviewed

Lahore:November 3:Various important decisions were taken in the 47th meeting of the Board of Governors of Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board. The meeting, chaired by the board chairman, Lt-Gen (r) Muhammad Akram, reviewed the timely publication of low-cost, quality and error-free textbooks in the light of the Chief Minister's Educational Reforms Programme. University of Health Sciences BDS exam result

Lahore:November 3: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore has declared the result of second professional BDS annual examination 2017. A total of 726 candidates of 12 institutes appeared in the exam out of which 532 passed. The supplementary exams will start on December 15. Punjab University staff concerned over land to Lesco

LAHORE:October 22:A delegation of Punjab University Academic Staff Association (PUASA) called on Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zaffar Mueen Nasar and expressed concerns over possible allotment of varsity’s land to Lesco for construction of a feeder.
