PU Prof Dr Rubeena Zakar visited King Edward Medical University

LAHORE :19 august: Punjab University (PU) Faculty of Health Sciences Acting Dean Prof Dr Rubeena Zakar visited King Edward Medical University (KEMU) and called on Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Gondal. According to a press release, Dr Rubeena solicited academic and research collaboration between the two institutes. Dr Masood shared his vision for the development of academic and research culture in the university and expressed his willingness to share KEMU’s expertise with PU.

University of Engineering schedule admissions in BSc Engineering

LAHORE:18 August: University of Engineering & Technology (UET) has issued schedule for the year of 2018 for admissions in BSc Engineering and BSc Engineering Technology programmes in Lahore and its sub-campuses, including Kala Shah Kaku (UET-KSK) campus, Rachna College of Engineering & Technology (UET-RCET) Gujranwala, Faisalabad (UET-FSD) and Narowal (UET-NWL).

University of the Punjab BA/BSc exams results on September 10.

Lahore:15 August: University of the Punjab will announce the results of BA/BSc annual examinations 2018 on September 10. A spokesman for the university said the exam results would be uploaded on the varsity's website i.e. www.pu.edu.pk the same day. The university will organise prize distribution ceremony for high-achievers of BA, BSc Part-II examinations at its Al-Raazi Hall on main campus in Lahore. PU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar will be the chief guest on the occasion, where teachers and parents of students will also be in attendance.

LAHORE :12 August: Punjab University’s Hailey College of Commerce Assistant Professor Dr Hafiz Zafar Ahmed participated in 8th International Conference on Restructuring of the Global Economy (ROGE) and got certificate of “Best Track Presenter”. Tevta campaign to plant trees in its 400 institutes across Punjab

LAHORE:August 10: Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) has kicked off the Green Tevta campaign to plant trees in its 400 institutes across Punjab. During a meeting chaired by Tevta General Manager Amir Aziz, committees were constituted to supervise the campaign. Amir Aziz said Independence Day would be a mega day this time. The students and staff in all institutes of Tevta would not only celebrate the Independence Day but also plant trees. He also advised the students to take part in the campaign enthusiastically. LCWU displayed first merit list for admissions to FA/FSc first year

Lahore :08 August: Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) has displayed the first merit list for admissions to FA/FSc first year with FSc (pre-medical) on top with 1,053 marks. A spokesperson for LCWU said dues could be submitted from August 8 to August 10 in the campus while the second merit list would be displayed on August 10.The news.

graduation ceremony of WhizKids 2018, a project of IT University

LAHORE:06 August: The graduation ceremony of WhizKids 2018, a project of Information Technology University (ITU) and PITB catering to students aged 8 to 18 years, was held at Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP). According to a press release issued on Sunday, speaking at the closing ceremony, Dr Umar Saif, founding Vice-Chancellor of ITU and PITB Chairman, said under the project kids had been given an experience to learn in an environment that promote the ‘learning by doing’ model. He added WhizKids programme was designed to empower students with state-of-the-art technology.
