NUST College of Engineering held Open House & Job Fair

Rawalpindi:09 May: Open House & Job Fair 2018 was held at NUST College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (EME), here on Tuesday. Dr. Samar Mubarakmand, renowned scientist, former Chairman NESCOM and former Member Science & Technology Planning Commission of Pakistan, graced the occasion as chief guest. In his address he emphasised on further strengthening industry-academia relationships for rapid scientific and technological development in the country. He highlighted the importance of fostering an entrepreneurial culture in Pakistan.

GOVT Viqar-un-Nisa College organised Pakistan Day ceremony

Rawalpindi:03 April: To commemorate Pakistan Day, a ceremony was organised at Govt. Viqar-un-Nisa Postgraduate College for Women, here on Friday. The guest of honour for the event was Director Colleges Rawalpindi, Malik Muhammad Asghar. A documentary was played, highlighting the historical importance of Pakistan Day. A tableau was presented by the students, illuminating the cultural diversity of Pakistan and reflecting the solidarity among all its provinces.

Rawalpindi Viqarun Nisa College Inter collegiates debate contests

Rawalpindi:February 24: The division level three Urdu debate contests under the ‘Punjab Chief Minister Competitions 2017-18’ were held at Government Viqar-un-Nisa Postgraduate College for Women, on Friday, says a press release. The objective of holding these contests was to explore the inner talents of students and boost their confidence. The principal of the host college, Professor Dr. Saira Mufti was the chief guest on the occasion.

Annual prize distribution ceremony held at FG Postgraduate College

Rawalpindi:February 23: To commend the consistent efforts of students who excelled in academics and co-curricular activities during the 2017-2018, the annual prize distribution of FG Postgraduate College for Women, Kashmir Road was held in the Salma Masud Auditorium here on Thursday. Professor Rana Arshad Qazi was the honourable chief guest on this occasion. The ceremony started with the recitation of the Quranic verses by Mehwish Shaheen. Hira Shafique presented ‘Naat’. College Anthem was presented by Nighat Younas, Hira Shafique, Marwa Sajjad, Rabbea Hanif.

Girls top in all three groups of HSSC exams of RBISE

Rawalpindi:September 12: The girls once again proving their metal in intelligence overhauled the boy students in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Examination conducted by Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) in April, this year. According to the results announced by RBISE the girls topped in all three groups and the boys remained far behind thus failing to achieve top slots in the HSSC annual examination.

Roots Garden Schools celebrate Independence Day
